As we are all aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has made it necessary for us to adapt to a new way in which we deliver Waldorf Education to our children.
We have created an online environment to ensure children experience their education with the same spirit of commitment, enthusiasm and engagement. For the children, continuity and a sense of normalcy are crucial, so a structured routine is key. Here at Waldorf Woodlands, we are using Avaya Spaces as our communication and learning tool to support the learning and connection with our students.
We have effectively started our classes, and are looking for a successful term ahead. Stay safe and well.
In light of the announcement by President Uhuru Kenyatta stating that all day schools shut down with immediate effect, the school will, therefore, remain closed as of Monday 16th of March, 2020 until further notice.
This is unfortunately beyond our control, but we continue to urge you all to follow guidelines issued by the Kenya Ministry of Health.
If you would like to find out more about our school, please don’t hesitate to contact us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or tel: 0727 524850.
Join us in celebrating sound, motion and creativity. Make music with your hands, sticks, stones… Play traditional Kenyan instruments, sing and dance. Our special guests ABAKI SIMBA will run drumming workshop and MC SALIM capoeira. All set in the lush woodlands at our Nandi Road campus in Karen.
